Location and views
Jade is on the road level of the house, and has its own private external entrance. You can also access the room via the main house.
A large window overlooks the valley and the Castello di Nipozzano and its vineyards.
Bedroom
There is a 160 cm x 200 cm double bed (can become twin).
There is ample wardrobe space.
There is a glass door to the outside, with window above, there is a window overlooking the country road the then valley towards the Castello di Nipozzano. There is a skylight window.
The bedroom is approximately 23m2.
Bathroom
The en suite bathroom has a shower, sink and loo. The main window looks over the country road towards the Castello di Nipozzano. There is a second small window way up in the wall.
The bathroom is approximately 3.7m2.
Heating/cooling and protection
The room is at ground level on one side, but at basement level on the other and built into the hillside, so it is naturally cool during the hotter months. We do provide a fan too.
Jade has central heating both in the bedroom and bathroom which operates on a centralised timer system.
There is a smoke detector on the same floor.
Pros and cons
A cooler room is a darker, so in the summer very cool!

Cool things to know
Jade was once a stall for cattle and horses. A skylight window to the courtyard would once have been a chute where animal feed would have been tossed down from the fields and lands above. There are some original main beams still in this room, and one bears an ancient pulley which presumably was use for hoisting and moving the animal feed.
